What others say about us

We first stayed here over a year ago and were determined to come back with our dog and enjoy it as the second night of our honeymoon. As soon as we arrived in the bar, we were all made to feel so welcome and after our first drink were shown to our lovely comfy room with a beautiful vase of flowers – a really lovely touch.

Dinner was incredible, beautifully presented and mouth watering tasty and the sticky toffee pudding is to die for!!! After a good nights sleep in the comfy bed we had a delicious Northumberland breakfast to set us up for the day. A big Thank you to Andrew and Sue for being fantastic hosts, we will be back x

Loved this inn and its location. Large well appointed room. Very clean and comfortable.

The food in the restaurant – both dinner and breakfast – was delicious. Pub was comfortable and warm and seemed to be the local gathering place. They did my washing for me for £5 which was a huge help for light packers. Better still, Andy changed my flat tire for me. Life saver.

Wish I could have stayed more than one night.

Stayed November 2014, traveled solo
